Sales Technician
Viking Air is growing! We are a Pinellas County based air conditioning company seeking a full-time HVAC sales technician. The position includes providing performance options to customers so that they can select the system that works best for their needs (80% residential / 20% light commercial). Pay is commensurate with experience, and competitive for the market. Viking Air also offers great benefits including PTO, percentage match for 401k, insurance options, company training, lunches, vehicles and phones. The majority of work is based in Pinellas County.
We are looking for someone who wants a career and is willing to grow with the company. Local candidates preferred.
Position includes the following work:
- Understanding of different types of air conditioning equipment and systems.
- Understanding of system performance.
- Knowledge of SEER ratings and performance metrics.
- All while being able to maintain a high level of customer service.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5 years experience with EPA certification.
- Installation and service experience.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing air conditioning equipment.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- MUST have a valid / clean Florida Driver's license.
- MUST be able to pass a background check.
- MUST be able to pass a drug test.

The position includes service and repair jobs (80% residential / 20% light commercial) with the occasional preventative maintenance job. Pay is commensurate with experience, and competitive for the market. Viking Air also offers great benefits including PTO, percentage match for 401k, insurance options, company training, lunches, vehicles and phones. The majority of work is based in Pinellas County.
We are looking for someone who wants a career and is willing to grow with the company. Local candidates preferred.
Position includes the following work:
- Understanding of air conditioning fundamentals and concepts.
- Understanding of basic high and low voltage wiring.
- Accurately troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment.
- Full cleaning and maintenance to various equipment.
- Installation of various HVAC equipment and ductwork.
- All while being able to maintain a high level of customer service.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5 years experience with EPA certification.
- Installation and service experience.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing air conditioning equipment.

The lead installer will oversee the installation of new units and ductwork to make sure projects are completed according to company specifications and local codes. Pay is commensurate with experience, and competitive for the market.
